Where it all started.. about 20 years ago with a 2 page mini Creative Memories scrapbook party. Over the years I scrapbooked here and there. A couple of years ago I signed up to be an Independent Consultant with Close to My Heart. It’s been interesting to see how scrapbooking as an art form has evolved and just how many products are available for paper crafters that love to stamp and scrapbook. I will share some of my favorite products and there’s so many out there that I’m still getting acquainted with. That little boy is my son who is now all grown up with a wife and house of his own…
Here’s a 2 page layout from his wedding done with the “Hello Lovely” paper packet from the 2017 Seasonal Expressions 1 catalog. A wonderful thing about Close to My Heart paper packets is they are beautifully coordinated, heavy paper, with the weight of light card stock. The paper is double sided with an alternating pattern giving quite a bit of design flexibility. Also, each piece has a patterned zip strip which serves as an additional embellishment. It takes some of the guesswork out of coordinating papers and allows more time for scrapbooking. By the way, it rained just after this beautiful ceremony took place, but, it didn’t last long and the rest of the day was ..well, lovely.
